Welcome to An Act of Compassion

Finally, after so many years in the making, “An Act of Compassion” will soon be available at your local bookstore, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Kindle, etc. We appreciate you finding us and we are so glad that you are here! We sincerely urge you to set up your very own personal account on our site so that you may comment whenever the urge may strike. The rules are very simple – posts will be untouched and not edited by anyone on staff, as long as your posts are civil, do not attack any individual or organization personally and when writing that you do so without malice towards one another. You can express your anger and disappointments towards people, places or things – in a civil and respectful way.

The title of the book came to me during the many tens of thousands of miles traveled over the years, weekly to Chicago and around, traveling to major cities within the United States, the airports, planes, taxis, the numerous weekend of recoveries, speaker engagements, rallies and testimonials and even the journeys to reach new destinations, unchartered & unknown to me before in my life. Many of us, still being treated for an endless list of afflictions – as so many other survivors representing and speaking out for those that suffer from many forms of traumatic sexual, physical and psychological abuse – including ritual and even satanic, we all know the names all too well. They are panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD), anxiety, dissociative and identity disorders, cognitive disorders, transference and countertransference, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD, attention deficit disorder or ADD, borderline schizophrenia, paranoid disorders, antisocial disorders, borderline personality disorders, personality disorders, adjustment disorders, impulse-control disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders or OCD, childhood disorders, eating & mood disorders, sexual & sleep disorders, alcohol and drug and/or substance abuse, developmental disorders including autism, and many more.

No shame, no pity and no silence. That is one thing that we will not ever be again and that is silent. We suffered in silence for too many years – never again.
